Lee Daniels, currently riding high on the stupendous success of his TV series Empire, likes to work in his pajamas - even when working with Oprah Winfrey.

'I've always directed in my pajamas,' Daniels said on Late Night With Seth Meyers this week. 'I was overweight, I lost like 60 pounds, so (weight) was the primary reason.

'But it was just free, I was able to do my thing. I still direct in my pajamas even after losing the weight - I just get them tailored in. Because it liberates me. I sleep, eat, breathe work.'

Decked out in a purple tuxedo, the host of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives officiated the ceremony on Monday (23 February).

Fieri's late sister, Morgan, was a lesbian.

'Was an honor to be part of such an amazing day for so many loving couples,' he tweeted.

Art Smith, former personal chef to Oprah Winfrey, came up with the idea of a free over-the-top wedding after Florida judges lifted the state's ban on gay marriage last month.

It was a night Graham Moore could not imagine when he was 16 years old.

His name was announced as the winner of the best adapted screenplay category at the Academy Awards on Sunday and the Oscar was presented to Moore by Oprah Winfrey.

Moore took the stage, thanked his collaborators on The Imitation Game then got deeply personal in a speech that resulted on a standing ovation.

'When was was 16 years old I tried to kill myself because I felt weird and I felt different and I felt like I did not belong,' said Moore who is now in his early 30s.

If Bayard Rustin were alive today he certainly would have been proud on Monday as the LGBTI communities held discussions on the Oscar-nominated civil right movie Selma.

Flashback Sunday, a social group for LGBTQ Elders of Color and their friends, and the Hispanic Black Gay Coalition (HBGC) convened the event between generations of LGBTI activists. Folks who were active during 1960’s civil rights era and today’s Black Lives Matter activists met at Emmanuel Church in Boston on Monday, as a way of honoring the 29th anniversary of Martin Luther King Day.

Gay talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey just spooned while playing Heads Up.

Enlisting the help of actors David Oyelowo and Carmen Ejogo who were on the show to talk about their new movie Selma, the pair played a round of the chart-topping phone app game to the delight of the audience.

During the game, DeGeneres and Winfrey acted out a number of actions including getting waxed, waltzing and finally spooning while Oyelowo and Ejogo did the guessing.

Nothing worked out as planned and that series has been instead made into a 90-minute film to be aired on Winfrey's OWN on 27 December.

The series was quickly scrapped after pushback from the league and the team who were already concerned about 'distractions' regarding Sam.

As a kid, Kressley swooned whenever the star of The Six Million Dollar Man, a series about an ex-astronaut with bionic implants.

'I remember being absolutely in love with Lee Majors when he was The Six Million Dollar Man,' Kressley tells Gay Star News. 'He was on the cover of Dynamite Magazine which I stole from my brother.
