Gay talk show host and Queen of All Media play a hilarious game of Heads Up

Gay talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey just spooned while playing Heads Up.

Enlisting the help of actors David Oyelowo and Carmen Ejogo who were on the show to talk about their new movie Selma, the pair played a round of the chart-topping phone app game to the delight of the audience.

During the game, DeGeneres and Winfrey acted out a number of actions including getting waxed, waltzing and finally spooning while Oyelowo and Ejogo did the guessing.

Award winning performer Jennifer Hudson will make her Broadway debut in the musical The Color Purple.

According to Brodway.com, the LGBT ally will portray Shug Avery, the play's bisexual blues singer.

It was 10 years ago today that Berkus' partner was swept out to sea while they were vacationing at a beach resort in Sri Lanka

For the past 10 years, the day after Christmas has marked a sad anniversary for TV interior design guru Nate Berkus.

It was on 26 December in 2004 that Berkus was vacationing at a beach resort in Sri Lanka with his his partner, photographer Fernando Bengoechea, and the Indian Ocean tsunami hit.

Bengoechea was swept out to sea, his body never recovered.

'My thoughts, prayers, and love go out to all who lost someone in the tsunami 10 years ago today,' Berkus tweeted today.

'A very few reached out to me and pretty much just told me their gratitude and how thankful they were that I had the courage (to come out),' Sam says in an interview with Oprah Winfrey to air on OWN on Saturday (27 December).

'They wished that they had the courage to come out.'

After the college football star was drafted by the St. Louis Rams, Winfrey's cable channel OWN had announced plans for a documentary series following the first season of the NFL's first openly gay player.

Nothing worked out as planned and that series has been instead made into a 90-minute film to be aired on Winfrey's OWN on 27 December.

The series was quickly scrapped after pushback from the league and the team who were already concerned about 'distractions' regarding Sam.

As a kid, Kressley swooned whenever the star of The Six Million Dollar Man, a series about an ex-astronaut with bionic implants.

'I remember being absolutely in love with Lee Majors when he was The Six Million Dollar Man,' Kressley tells Gay Star News. 'He was on the cover of Dynamite Magazine which I stole from my brother.
