Mom begs the public for her dead gay son's final moments

A man from Derry, Northern Ireland, has been found dead in his home shortly after being attacked

A grieving mother in Northern Ireland is pleading for the public's help in tracing the final moments of her gay son.

Terry McCartney, 42, was found dead at his flat in Londonderry at 10am on 6 February.

A well-known gay activist, McCartney was involved in a fight with a group of men hours before his death, during which he was punched to the ground.

After the post-mortem, police are not treating the death as suspicious.

Walliams, who starred with gay comedian Matt Lucas in the successful Little Britain TV shows, is the subject of a Daily Mail story today, detailing how Walliams brought his wife to a Paul McCartney concert at London's Royal Albert Hall to 'prove' he is straight following a jibe at a previous gig where McCartney insinuated Walliams was gay.

Elton John to perform at Queen's jubilee concert

Elton John will join Jessie J and Annie Lennox in concert celebrating 60 year reign of Elizabeth II

Sir Elton John will be singing for the queen this summer and I don't mean his arch-nemesis Madonna.

The star will perform, along with Paul McCartney and Dame Shirley Bassey, at the British monarch's Diamond Jubilee Concert on 4 June.

Bisexual pop singer Jessie J and AIDS activist Annie Lennox will join a star-studded line-up, which also includes boyband JLS, Tom Jones and Cliff Richard.
