A Connecticut gay couple will stand trial in an attempt to clear their names after two of nine boys they adopted claimed they abused them

Glastonbury, Connecticut gay couple George Harasz and Douglas Wirth have chosen to stand trial over child abuse allegations in order to clear their names.

Harasz and Wirth had been raising nine adopted boys alongside two of Harasz’ own biological children with their mother when two of the boys, aged 5 and 15 alleged that they had been abused by the men.

The other children in the home deny that abuse took place but following the allegations all were removed from the couple’s care.

Four priests say Britain’s leading Catholoic homophobe made ‘inappropriate’ advances and contact, one claims a ‘relationship’. O’Brien disputes accusations

Four priests, one who has now left the church, have accused Scotland’s Cardinal Keith O’Brien of ‘inappropriate behavior’ over 30 years.

The Cardinal’s spokesman has said their claims are contested. He is apparently taking legal advice.

O’Brien has previously compared gay marriage to slavery, claiming it is a ‘violation of human rights’ and slammed its planned introduction by the Scottish and parliament and Westminster as ‘madness’.

According to The Observer, which broke the story, the four are all based in the diocese of St Andrews and Edinburgh.

Outspoken right-wing US pundit Rush Limbaugh has said the left wants to normalize pedophilia like they did with same-sex marriage.

On Monday (7 January), during the broadcast of his radio show Limbaugh discussed an article from left-wing British paper The Guardian titled ‘Pedophilia: Bringing Dark Desires to Light’.

British Prime Minister warns against online gossip about a rumored pedophile ring at Number 10

British Prime Minister David Cameron fears a 'witch hunt' against gays over child abuse claims.

The Conservative Party leader was confronted over rumors of a Number 10 pedophile ring while appearing on daytime TV show This Morning today (7 November).

After presenter Phillip Schofield handed him a list of suspected child abusers circulating online, he claimed Cameron knew them and pushed him to comment on what action he intended to take.

However, the PM did not look at the names and urged people to take any information on the issue to the police.

Makes statement while interviewing Kansas pastor who says gays should be put to death

During CNN’s Early Start on Thursday (31 May), co-anchor Ashleigh Banfield challenged Kansas Pastor Curtis Knapp, who recently called for the government to kill gays and lesbians.

But during the interview with a controversial figure, Banfield caused a controversy of her own as she tried to condemn Knapp's comment that 'we punish pedophilia, we punish incest, we punish polygamy and various things. It's only homosexuality that is lifted out as an exemption.'

CNN's Ashleigh Banfield said on Friday (1 June) that she misspoke when she said during a broadcast this week that 'homosexuality is a lifestyle choice by people.'

Banfield's comment came during an interview with Kansas Pastor Curtis Knapp lit up the Twitterverse and she quickly became the target of a lot of criticism. Knapp believes the federal government should put all gays and lesbians to death.
