Bill Gates will be giving an inventor thousands of dollars if they can invent a more pleasurable condom.

The co-founder of Microsoft and business magnate is looking for a next generation condom that ‘significantly preserves or enhances pleasure in order to improve uptake and regular use’.

Gates is welcoming anyone, from students to scientists, to come up with an idea and submit it in an easy, online, two-page application.

A safe sex campaign that was pulled down after complaints from Christians and then reinstated will return in the Australian state of Queensland from this month

A controversial safe-sex campaign targeting gay men has returned in the Australian state of Queensland a year after it was removed from billboards and bus shelters following an orchestrated campaign against it by Christian activists.

The Rip & Roll campaign resulted in 222 complaints, making it the most complained about advertisement in Australia in 2011, after the far-right Australian Christian Lobby urged its members to complain about it.

UK health experts are urging gay men to practice safe sex after alarming new figures reveal a sharp increase in sexually transmitted infections.

According to new data released by the Health Protection Agency today (31 May), there has been an upsurge in the number of new STI diagnoses in England in 2011, with the biggest increase seen among men who have sex with men.
