Smartphone application Comixology has admitted to banning a comic containing images of gay sex as they were confused over Apple’s policies.

The app, which many iPhone and iPad users use to read their favorite comic books, admitted responsibility yesterday (10 April).

SAGA #12, created by Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples, showed a character named Prince Robot IV with a TV screen for a head showing two small images of gay pornography in its opening pages.

Issue 12 of acclaimed series SAGA containing two postage-stamp size images of gay sex will not be available on Apple devices

Apple has banned a comic for containing images of gay sex. Earlier issues, which showed explicit straight sex, are still available.

The new issue of SAGA, by Brian K Vaughn and Fiona Staples, shows a character named Prince Robot IV with a TV screen for a head showing two small images of gay pornography.

The acclaimed series’ 12th issue will not be available through the iOS Comixology app or on iPhones or iPads.

Vaughn said: ‘As has hopefully been clear from the first page of our first issue, SAGA is a series for the proverbial “mature reader”.

Cardinal Keith O’Brien had a long-standing sexual relationship with a man while he was the leader of Scotland’s Catholic Church.

Prince Saud bin Abdulaziz bin Nasir al Saud flew to Saudi Arabia after spending less than three years in a British jail.

The 36-year-old was convicted in 2010 of murdering Bandar Abdulaziz in a London hotel after weeks of attacks.

Cardinal Keith O’Brien is alleged to have attempted to grope a priest in Rome on the night of a drinks party celebrating him becoming a ‘prince of the Church’ in October 2003.

The party where O’Brien allegedly tried to grope a man was attended by a noteable bishops and dignitaries.

This is the first direct allegation against the Cardinal and sexual misconduct at the heart of the Catholic Church.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information after an attack in gay spot Soho, London

A man is still in a coma after an alleged anti-gay attack in central London.

Police announced they were appealing for help today (6 February) after the serious assault happened on 27 January.

It occurred at around 3.10am in the central gay area of Soho.

In a statement to Gay Star News, a Metropolitan spokesman said: ‘The victim, a 40-year-old man, was standing outside the Prince Edward Theatre when he was passed by two other men.

‘They stopped and a conversation took place after which one of the men punched the victim.

A UK member of parliament wants to change the law to allow the children of gay couples to be recognized as the heir to the throne.

Labour MP Paul Flynn is wishing to amend a bill which ensures the first child of Prince William and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will rule as monarch regardless of whether they are a boy or girl.

He is hoping to amend the legislation to allow their children to be a king or queen, and still be openly gay.

Federation of Gay Games approves new sports for 2018 but polo horses can stay at home

Archers, fencers and wheelchair rugby players are hoping to take part in the Gay Games in 2018 after the event’s governing body approved their sports.

The Federation of Gay Games (FGG) has also agreed to a boxing tournament, pétanque and roller derby but turned their nose up at a request to include polo.

So while boxing is considered a knock-out idea, archery hit the target and they decided wheelchair rugby was wheely good, anyone hoping to see Prince Harry astride a stallion at a Gay Games anytime soon will definitely be disappointed.

African-American publication has previously featured only straight couples

Dr. Ravi Perry and Paris Prince are the first gay couple featured in the weddings section of Jet magazine, the popular African-American bi-weekly publication.

'Jet's publishing of our union is historic,' the couple said of their inclusion in the magazine's issue published 10 December.

Perry is an assistant professor of political science at Mississippi State University and Prince is a licensed real estate broker and anti-discrimination compliance expert. They were married in August at their home in Worcester, Massachusetts.
