New York City DJ  Mister Cee will go on Hot 97's morning to show to explain his arrest for soliciting a male prostitute

Mister Cee, a popular DJ at the New York City radio station Hot 97, was reportedly arrested last week for soliciting a male prostitute.

According to the website Rod 2.0 (who linked to a Daily News article), the 46 year-old allegedly approached an undercover police officer. Cee, whose legal name is Calvin LeBrun, will appear on the station's morning show tomorrow (6 April) to explain last week's events.

A Dubai court heard yesterday (17 March) that the two were caught in a ‘sting operation’ after police found one of the defendants offering sexual services on the social networking site Whoshere, with a profile nicknamed ‘Mayoud Al Barari’.

Transgender Carmen was hero of Sydney’s gay scene and pushed political boundaries in New Zealand

Transgender icon Carmen died in Sydney aged 75 on Thursday (15 December) after months of ill health.

She passed away in the city’s St Vincent's Hospital of kidney failure, the Sydney Morning Herald.

Born in New Zealand in 1935 as Trevor Rupe as one of a family of 13 children, she emigrated to Sydney to become a sex worker in the late 1950s.
