A Michigan superintendent has invited renowned anti-gay US politician Rick Santorum back to speak at a high school.

Dr Thomas Harwood, the superintendent, says parents will now be able to sign a permission slip to decide if students can attend the event to hear Santorum speak, Click on Detroit reports.

Board says it needs more time 'due to the complexity of this issue'

The national board of the Boys Scouts of America on Wednesday (6 February) delayed a decision of whether or not to end its controversial ban on gay members and leaders.

The BSA said in a statement that 'after careful consideration and extensive dialogue' within the organization along with outside comments, the board concluded 'that due to the complexity of this issue, the organization needs time for a more deliberate review of its membership policy.'

US Senator Marco Rubio, already being mentioned as a possible Republican presidential candidate in 2016, says he believes homosexuality is a sin but insists that he does not judge gay people.

One year after the US military lifted it’s ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell’ ban on openly gay service people, the change has had no negative consequences.

A lesbian activist dressed as a cow in Texas to protest homophobic fast food chain Chick-Fil-A.

Just Kusko stood outside a branch of the restaurant in Austin holding a sign which read: 'Don't Hate The Homooo!'

The chain is openly against gay marriage and its charitable arm has donated millions to anti-gay organizations in recent years.

'These pictures have really taken off,' Kusko told The Advocate.

Alabama pastor supports Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy's homophobic remarks, and suggests gay activists are 'heterophobic'

If society legalizes gay marriage then it will only lead to another flood that wiped out society like in the tale of Noah’s ark, according to a right-wing US pastor.

Aaron Fruh, a pastor at Knollwood Church in Mobile, Alabama, spoke out against marriage equality on American Family Radio.

In audio acquired by Right Wing Watch, he challenged listeners to ‘find any society in human history that ever tried that experiment and lived to tell about it, they’ve all been destroyed.’
