Tina Fey dusted off her uncanny and wildly popular impersonation of Sarah Palin during a recent television appearance and, as Palin, took on the issue of gay marriage.

'Well, the bible says it's gross,' she told host James Lipton on an episode of Inside the Actors Studio.

'I don't judge it,' she added. 'A lot of the amazing, wonderful people I met at the audience at Dancing With the Stars seemed to go that way.'

While appearing before TV writers with fellow cast members of the all-star edition of ABC's Dancing With the Stars last month, Bristol Palin was asked if she would mind if she were paired with an openly gay male dancer in the competition.

Palin, star of the Lifetime reality show Life's a Tripp, said that just because she believes in 'traditional marriage,' does not mean that she's a 'homophobe.'

The Chick-fil-A chain has been at the center of a heated debate ever since its top executive went on the record to say he was against gay marriage.

Gay marriage opponents like Rick Santorum, Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin have rallied to the Atlanta-based chain's defense who marriage equality advocates have spoken out, tweeted and protested.

Some politicians have even gone so far as saying the chain's restaurants are no longer welcome in their state.

But one thing that hasn't surface until today (1 August) is humor.

The adverts also show lookalikes of far-right politicians Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin tying the knot.

The humor may have been lost on some people, as the campaign was banned in California and other states in the US.

Greg Hodge, CEO of Beautiful People, told Gay Star News that as long as all of his members cannot enjoy the same benefits and recognition of their fellow citizens, he will be campaigning for marriage equality.

Looks like for the next few days US politics will be defined by if you eat at Chick-fil-A.

The fast food restaurant has been in the spotlight recently for its donations in support of anti-gay initiatives. Yesterday, 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin tweeted she and her husband were at the restaurant after a Texas campaign rally.

Nancy Pelosi, the House Minority Leader, went to her Twitter feed to say how she preferred a Chick-fil-A rival.

The 2008 Republican vice presidential boldly stepped into the recent food war as proxy by letting her followers know she was going to the fast food restaurant immediately after a Texas campaign stop.

'Stopped by Chick-fil-A in The Woodlands to support a great business,'  Palin tweeted as reported by Politico. The Woodlands is a suburb of Houston.

Bristol Palin wanted to talk about being chosen for the cast of ABC's Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars.

But the daughter of former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin was asked on Friday (27 July) about her feelings about gay people when the cast was announced during the TV Critics Association summer press tour.

'I like gays,' Palin told a roomful reporters which included Gay Star News. 'I'm not a homophobic. Just because I'm for traditional marriage.'

In US reality show news, Bristol Palin's son knows at least one anti-gay term.

Life's a Tripp follows Palin as she tries to raise her only son. The small lad is the grandson of former Governor Sarah Palin. In the below clip, he's angry with his aunt for some reason, and calls her an anti-gay slur. Both adults in the room are shocked, and amused, by the language.

'I'm doing a terrible job disciplining Tripp,' Bristol Palin notes.
