A gay man is blaming ITV reality competition show Britain’s Got Talent for his life now being at ‘rock bottom’.

Scott Whitley, 29, got Simon Cowell and the rest of the judges and audience working out along to his ‘funkacise’ routine during his audition shown in the fourth episode.

After he filmed the audition in January, he took a job as an entertainer with Thomas Cook in Lanzarote.

The 53-year-old X Factor judge said he was happily single, and did not mind when people constantly ask when he is coming out.

Speaking to the Radio Times, Cowell said: ‘If I was living 200 years ago in a coal mine, maybe, but I work in possibly the gayest industry in the world! Music and TV!

‘It would make no difference to my life or my career. A lot of my friends are gay, but I’m not and don’t even think that way any more.’

In a new video, it shows what appears to be the music mogul and British funny man sharing a romantic bath together.

As Walliams and Cowell toast champagne and servants in white linin cater to their every need, which includes rub downs, it looks like perfection.

Sadly they’re lookalikes, and the fake footage is from a new web sketch show to air on BBC3 written by BAFTA winner Alison Jackson.

Gay singer-songwriter Will Young’s debut has topped a list of the bestselling singles of the 21st century in the UK.

Revealed by BBC Radio 1 in a list of the 150 bestselling singles, Young’s first single Evergreen/Anything Is Possible sold over 1.7 million copies.

Young slammed the double-A singles last year, calling them ‘dreadful’.

UK television channel BBC One claims rivals ITV are 'worried' about its new talent show The Voice, featuring bisexual pop star Jessie J, after a clash in schedules with Britain's Got Talent emerged.

Both shows which premier on 24 March originally overlapped for 45 minutes but the BBC pushed it forward from its original 7.15pm start time to 7pm.

However, ITV hit back by moving Simon Cowell's ratings winner from 7.45pm to 7.30pm.
