Gay couples are now allowed to appear on the Welsh language version of Mr and Mrs, Sion a Siân (‘John and Jane’).

The programme is similar to the format of The Newlywed Game, the American game show in which newly married couples compete in a series of revealing question rounds to determine how much the couple knows about each other.

Sion a Siân was launched last night (8 April) on Welsh television channel S4C, with Berwyn Rowlands and Grant Vidgen as one of the several couples competing.
