Clive Davis, a music industry legend, has revealed in his new memoir The Soundtrack of my Life he has had two long-term relationships with men.

The 80-year-old father of four said he only opened himself up to the possibility he could have a relationship with a man after his failed marriage in the mid-80s.

Gay Union J member Jaymi Hensley says record deal is 'amazing'

X Factor boyband Union J, which includes gay member Jaymi Hensley, has won a record deal with Sony despite not taking first place on this year's show.

The UK group announced at their Cardiff gig on Saturday (15 December) that they intend to release an album next year, as they hope their contract will be sorted before Christmas, reported Digital Spy.

Gay pop star Will Young has signed a brand new recording contract with the label behind Queen, Jessie J and Amy Winehouse.

The Jealousy singer, who is currently performing on stage in London's West End revival of Cabaret, will now be with Island Records.

Will said: 'After almost 11 happy fulfilling years at Sony records I have decided to move on now to Island records.

Don Philip's voice no longer what it was when he sang with Spears

When Don Philip faced Britney Spears on this week's season premiere on Fox's The X Factor, he was asked what had happened to him in the 12 years since he has recorded a duet with the pop star and now TV show judge.

'At the time I didn't think I was worthy,’ Philip said of when he last saw Spears.

That's the part that TV viewers saw. What they didn't see was the rest of what he said: ‘I didn't think you thought it was okay that I am gay.’

Spears then said: ‘I think it is fine you are gay.’
