A Swedish Police officer has found internet fame after he was captured getting his groove on with a reveler in the 2014 Stockholm Pride Parade.

The police officer couldn’t resist getting into the spirit of the event and challenged a marcher to a dance off, tapping him on the shoulder to let him know the dance gauntlet had been thrown down.

Marchers cheered the police officer as he attempted to outdo his dance partner with his audacious moves.

As part of EuroGames 2015, the Swedish capital will also welcome gay and lesbian pro swimmers, divers and water polo players for the 2015 IGLA World Aquatics championship

LGBT athletes will be using their skills to combat homophobia and anti-gay politics next year at the EuroGames held in Stockholm.

Held about three times per decade, and previously hosted in Barcelona, Paris, London and Antwerp, The EuroGames will be hosted in Stockholm.

As part of the 5 to 9 August program, the city has announced it will also host the 2015 IGLA World Aquatics Championships.

Sweden, the home of football's only openly gay pro player Anton Hysén, is shocked after footballers shouted homophobic insults

A Swedish football club has fired all of their players after complaints they had hurled homophobic remarks at members of a rival team.

During a recent Division Seven match with the Stockholm Snipers, players from Sörskogens IF were heard shouting insults such as ‘you suck cock for 50 kronor’, ‘all of you have HIV’, and ‘we’re probably going to get infected’.

Club chair Ketil Torp said: ‘We had no choice but to suspend the entire team. That kind of language isn't appropriate for football or anywhere else.’
