GLAAD and Equality Ohio have started petition against Tricia Macke

Tricia Macke, a news anchor for the Fox affiliate in Cincinatti, Ohio, is under fire for calling MSNBC's lesbian anchor Rachel Maddow an 'angry young man.'

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation and Equality Ohio have launched a petition calling on Fox 19 to condemn comments made last month by Macke on her her Facebook page.

Plans to marry partner Rubem Robierb later this year in New York

Sam Champion, the weather anchor on ABC's Good Morning America, is getting married to male partner Rubem Robierb later this year.

The engagement was reported in a New York Times profile on Champion's friend, MSNBC's Thomas Roberts, who married longtime partner Patrick Abner last weekend.

California Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom performs ceremony in NYC

The setting was the rooftop of Manhattan's Gansevoort Hotel on Park Ave. as MSNBC anchor Thomas Roberts married his longtime partner, Patrick Abner, in New York City over the weekend.

The couple exchanged their vows in a ceremony Saturday (29 September) performed by Gavin Newsom, the Lieutenant Governor of California and former San Francisco mayor who in 2004 authorized same-sex marriages in that city which were later annulled.

'The BEST night ever with Patrick Abner,' Roberts tweeted after the ceremony. 'Thanks to the most amazing friends and family.'
