What has been your best holiday ever?
I always have a really good time in Los Angeles, but my best holiday ever was St. Lucia – although I didn't feel it was the most accepting place. I feel like if I had gone with a boyfriend it would've felt a bit weird.

I went by myself to DJ – the rest of the time I just lay on the beach. But it was a stunning place. I stayed at the [Boucan by] Hotel Chocolat, and the view was the best in the world.

Is popular LGBTI-themed book The Princes and the Treasure set to make its cinematic debut?

Is Disney really making an animated feature film about two gay princes that fall in love?

Sorry, but no.

The false story is circulating this week, raising the hopes of many that everyone's favorite children's filmmakers will show gay characters on screen.

The 'report', which has so far been shared 60,000 times on Facebook, claimed it would be adapted from Jeffrey A. Miles' children's book The Princes and the Treasure.

If you've seen Orange Is The New Black, you know there is no such thing as a 'happily ever after'.

Artist Maria Bayley, when thinking about a group of people who would never see themselves in jail, thought immediately about Disney princesses.

Throwing in a prince and a sea witch for good measure, she transformed the Netflix series cast into characters from Disney films.

The submission to a Photoshop contest on DesignCrowd won her $250 (€180).

Scouting official acknowledges the resort's 'views do not currently align with the BSA and they are choosing to discontinue this level of support'

Walt Disney World Resort has stopped contributing to local Boy Scouts of America chapters in Florida because of the organization's continued ban on gay leaders and employees.

The BSA began to allow openly gay members at the start of the year but the inclusion ends when a scout turns 18.

Christian organization claims a victory after did not air an advert during the show

Disney show Good Luck Charlie is being boycotted by One Million Moms over an episode featuring gay parents.

On 28 January, the sitcom series featured the first ever same-sex couple on the Disney channel.

In the show, two mothers Susan and Cheryl were introduced in a scene where they dropped their daughter Taylor off for a playdate with Charlie.

One Million Moms issued a statement, reading: ‘Disney has decided to be politically correct instead of providing family-friendly programming.

Lesbian moms make appearance on episode of sitcom Good Luck Charlie

The Disney Channel had not featured an LGBT character in its 31 year history.

That changed on Sunday (26 January) night when the cable channel featured a pair of lesbian moms on an episode of the popular sitcom Good Luck Charlie.

Series parents Amy and Bob Duncan set up a playdate for their preschooler Charlie and one of her new friends and get confused over the name of the mother. Amy says it's Susan and Bob says it's Cheryl.

When the two moms show up at their door with with daughter, it becomes clear that they are both right.

When former Disney star and 21-year-old Dylan Sprouse's naked pictures went viral, the gay celebrity blogger commented and several falsely said he should be sent to jail for liking 'child porn'

Gay celebrity blogger Perez Hilton is being falsely accused of pedophilia after a former child star’s nude pictures were leaked on the internet.

This is despite the fact the ‘child star’ is now 21 and legal.

Dylan Sprouse, who starred in The Suite Life of Zach and Cody on Disney in his teenage years, had ‘sexted’ the pictures to a former girlfriend.

She then gave the girls and gays online an early Christmas present by posting them on Twitter.

Meet the new teen boyband who have no problem playing dress up, as seen where they play both Disney princes and princesses in their new video.

Im5 are clearly aiming to be the successors to British phenomenon One Direction, with them even incorporating their music in their take on Disney.

They are managed by Simon Fuller, who used to collaborate with Simon Cowell, as well as Jamie King, who has choreographed for Madonna, and Perez Hilton, the gay celebrity blogger.

LGBT ally got her start as channel's Hannah Montana

Miley Cyrus is happy to see that The Disney Channel, which launched her to stardom as star of the Hannah Montana series, is set to introduce its first-ever gay characters next year.

An episode of its comedy series Good Luck Charlie will feature a family with two moms. It will air in 2014.

'I commend Disney for making this step into the light of this generation,' Cyrus tweeted to her 12 million followers this week.

OMM accuses Disney World of forcing captive audiences to see public displays of LGBT affection

One Million Moms (OMM) is campaigning to stop Gay Day, 1 June at Disney Orlando USA.

OMM believe the long running ‘event is planned with the intent to expose and desensitize children to this [gay] lifestyle by same-sex couples holding hands, hugging and kissing.’

One Million Moms urges their users to email Disney World with their formatted complaint.

Dubbed Disasterland, the set of artworks shows how Disney characters would fare in the real world and succumb to the pressures of modern day life, and their gay desires.

Gay rights activist and her girlfriend marry in double bridal white wedding in Tokyo Disneyland

When Japanese gay rights activist Koyuki Higashi contacted Tokyo Disneyland last year to ask if they would host her wedding to her girlfriend it sounded like an awareness-raising stunt, but in fact she did dream of a white wedding at Disneyland and last Friday the dream came true.

'My partner Hiroko and I just held a gay wedding at the Tokyo Disney Resort. Even Mickey and Minnie are here to celebrate with us!' said Higashi in a tweet, accompanied by a photo of the new wives with the Disney characters, that was retweeted 6,000 times.

George Kalogridis joined company in 1971 busing tables at Orlando resort

Walt Disney World has a new president - and he's openly gay.

George Kalogridis began his new position as head of the Orlando, Florida, resort last Friday (1 February).

He's now the top boss of approximately 66,000 employees at a resort where he began working back in 1971 as a busboy at one of the theme park's resorts. He was just 17 and was hired before the then brand-new theme park had even opened.

Florida Family Association calls wedding of X-Men characters Northstar and Kyle 'immoral social propaganda'

Don't expect The Florida Family Association to send a wedding gift to newlyweds Northstar and Kyle whose wedding was featured in Astonishing X-Men #51 published last month.

The group blasts Marvel Comics and parent company The Walt Disney Company for the June issue of the comic book and asks its members to send emails urging Disney, Marvel and comic retailers to pull the issue from the stands.

Departure of Rich Ross comes after massive box office failure of John Carter

The reign of Rich Ross as the first out head of a major movie studio has proven to be short-lived.

On Friday (20 April), Ross stepped down at chairman of Walt Disney Studios after less than three years on the job. His departure comes in the wake of the box office disaster John Carter which is expected to lose the studio arond $200 million.

The Florida Family Association plans to fly banner warning families

The anti-gay group Florida Family Association is seeking donations to 'warn families' about the unofficial 'Gay Day' taking place at Walt Disney World on June 2.'

'How would you feel if you entered the Magic Kingdom anticipating a normal day of fun with your family only to witness thousands of same-sex couples holding hands, hugging, kissing and wearing tee-shirts that promoted their lifestyle?' the group asks on its website.
