Oscar winner Anna Paquin, who plays a telepathic vampire lover on HBO’s True Blood, has given birth to twins.

A spokesperson for Paquin and her husband, True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer, did not reveal the exact birth date or the sex of the children.

'The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both mom and dad are overjoyed,' the spokesperson said.

In an interview with The Advocate, Moyer said: ‘We had an awful lot of fun that day and I happen to think Sam’s a very good-looking man.’

The first picture of Hollywood bisexual actress Lindsay Lohan playing the legendary HIV activist and film star Elizabeth Taylor has been released.

The film Liz and Dick, also featuring True Blood actor Grant Bowler, tells the tumultuous love story between classic movie actress Elizabeth Taylor and Welsh actor Richard Burton.

'I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor,' Lohan said in a statement. 'She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well. I am very honored to have been asked to play this role.'
