Matt Bomer has helped create his own clothing line of suits, shirts and bow ties

Portion of sales will benefit Project ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease 

Matt Bomer may have been wearing next to nothing when he played a stripper in last summer's Magic Mike but in his weekly series White Collar, he's one of the best dressed men on television.

On the show, Bomer plays the stylish ex-con Neal Caffrey whose threads typically include perfectly tailored suits and accessories.

So it seems fitting that Bomer, who came out publicly as a gay man last year, has teamed up with Alton Lane and created a range of suits, shirts and bow ties based on the Caffrey character.

There were plenty of Matt Bomer fans who wanted to see more of the actor in the summer box office hit Magic Mike in which he played a male stripper alongside of Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey and Joe Manganiello.

But much of his solo stripping scene ended up on the editing room floor.

That's why images from the scene, which surfaced on various websites including Queerty.com Wednesday (17 October), are getting plenty of attention.

Will play the sexy ex-boyfriend of Andrew Rannells character

Matt Bomer, the hunky star of TV’s White Collar, is set to guest star on NBC’s The New Normal as the ex-boyfriend of the character played by Andrew Rannells.

The show’s creator Ryan Murphy has broken the news on Twitter: 'Guess who’s coming on The New Normal as Bryan’s sexy ex-boyfriend? The one and only Matt Bomer!!!'

In it, Rannells plays one-half of a gay couple (his partner is played by Justin Bartha) who are expecting a child by a surrogate mother with whom they have created an unusual blended family.

Gay actor Matt Bomer has spoken about growing up gay and closeted in an award acceptance speech.

Speaking at a Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network ceremony in Palm Springs, the actor and his partner Simon Halls were honored with the Inspiration Award.

‘When I was in high school, there was no safe haven, there was no outlet for you to speak your mind,’ Bomer said.

Over the weekend at an awards ceremony in Palm Springs, CA, the actor took a step towards being more open about his private life when he publicly thanked his longtime partner, publicist Simon Halls, and their three children.

Bomer received the New Generation Arts and Activism Award for his work in the fight against HIV/AIDS at the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards on Saturday night.
