See them perform How Will I Know in preview of next week's episode

Two months after her untimely death, Whitney Houston and her music will be the focus of next week's episode of Glee titled Dance With Somebody.

FOX television on Thursday (19 April) released a preview video of one of the episode's most powerful musical numbers: How Will I Know.

It features two of the show's gay characters, Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Santana (Naya Rivera) singing background to the powerful lead vocals of Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Rachel (Lea Michele) in this slowed-down a capella version of one of Houston's early hits.

Whitney Houston's funeral will cost Newark $187,000 in police overtime

For the city of Newark, Whitney Houston's funeral did not come cheap. As reported by the Atlantic Wire, police officers amassed $187,00 in overtime. This is approximately 5 percent of the police department's budget.

The city's officers were 'barriers between fans and the proceedings on the day of the funeral.'

Singer accidentally drowned with cocaine use and heart disease contributing factors

The Los Angeles County coroner's office announced Thursday (22 March) that singer Whitney Houston died on the eve of the Grammy Awards last month from accidental drowning and from the effects of heart disease and cocaine use.

Houston, the six-time Grammy winner whose many hits included I Will Always Love You, Saving All My Love for You and The Greatest Love of All, was found dead in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Feb. 11.

Whitney Houston's funeral held today

The church, and city, that raised her sent her home today.

Whitney Houston's funeral service was held this afternoon in Newark, New Jersey. Although the ceremony was by invitation only, it was lived streamed on sites such as CNN and BET. Various news organizations live-blogged and Twitter was filled with comments. News of the singer's death has been on the front pages ever since her body was found last week in a Los Angeles hotel.

The Associated Press, with other news organizations, is reporting that Grammy award singer Whitney Houston is dead.

Publicist Kristen Foster made the announcement on Saturday, but offered no details about cause or location.

The multiple award winner was 48.
