BBC actresses Alison Steadman and Tracey-Ann Oberman will join other celebrities at an auction celebrating 30 years of Terrence Higgins Trust fighting HIV.

‘Money can’t buy’ items going under the hammer tomorrow (21 March) will include a four-night getaway to Bhutan in South Asia, artworks by guest Tracey Emin, an 18 carat white gold charm necklace and the chance to be ‘inked’ by tattooist to the stars Mo Coppoletta.

Top fashion designer Rohit Bal says his first foray into filmmaking will feature two gay lovers

One of India's top fashion designers Rohit Bal, has announced that his first feature film will be 'like Brokeback mountain' and 'a serious film on two gay lovers'.

Bal told Times of India that his debut feature film would be a more realistic depiction of gay characters than is usually seen in the Indian film industry.

One of Turkey's most celebrated fashion designers and a gay activist was brutally attacked in Istanbul

Celebrity Turkish gay fashion designer, Barbaros Şansal, was seriously beaten last night (27 December) in İstanbul, Turkey.

Şansal is well known in Turkey for being an outspoken gay activist and for his use of witty language.

According to daily Hurriyet, the attack, which took place in Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, had a political motive.

Guests attending The Wig Party 2012 are being asked to embrace their inner child and turn up in toy themed outfits

A London based HIV charity is set to take people back to their childhood by hosting a glamorous toy themed wig party.

The Wig Party 2012, being held at hip London nightclub Café de Paris, will raise money for the Elton John Aids Foundation has been given a toy land theme this year.

Guests are being asked to be as creative and crazy as they can be to dream up some outrageous toy inspired outfits.

Guests who have attended in the past include pop star Leona Lewis, who described the event as her ‘dream party’ and gay fashion designer Ben de Lisi.

Gay fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld slams Duchess of Cambridge's sister for her looks

Gay fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has lashed out at another celebrity who doesn't fit his limited view of beauty, but this time it's the Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton.

The German artist, famed as head designer and creative director for the fashion house Chanel, said he doesn't like the 28-year-old's face.

Pippa's bottom caught the world's attention when she was bridesmaid at Kate Middleton's royal wedding to Prince William in 2011 and the Lagerfeld added that she should 'only show her back' because she 'struggles' with her looks.

Ashton Kutcher acts as a gay and Indian character in a series of fake dating videos for a PopChips campaign 

American actor Ashton Kutcher has offended some viewers of a snack commercial by playing a gay stereotype.

Kutcher, known for hosting the television series Punk’d, acts as a French gay character called Darl looking for love in one of a series of fake dating videos.

The video is part of the PopChips campaign, which cost a reported $1.5million (£929,022, €1.14million) launched on Wednesday (2 May).

Out.com unveiled its annual Power 50 list of LGBT individuals on Thursday (26 April) and placed Apple CEO Tom Cook at the very top of it.

Cook was followed on the list by talk show host and comedienne Ellen DeGeneres. Rounding out the top five are venture capitalist and hedge find manager Peter Thiel, Glee creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy and MSNBC host Rachel Maddow.
