British supermarket Tesco is selling an inflatable gay best friend to bitch with you.

The retro and novelty toy, which is ‘always ready to give you fashion advice’ and has an age range of three to four, has caused controversy by being sold online.

‘Gay’ is also censored on the supermarket’s website.

‘If SEX in the City and Will & Grace taught us anything, it's that g*y best friends are in this season,’ it states.

Elisa Chan defends right to 'my personal opinions and thoughts'

Republican San Antonio Councilwoman Elisa Chan is not apologizing for calling gays and lesbians 'disgusting' and for saying they should not be allowed to be parents.

The local Texas politician is under fire for the comments made in a late May during a staff meeting and secretly recorded by a member of her staff who went public with his iPhone recording after quitting this week.

San Antonio Councilwoman Elisa Chan is under fire for anti-gay comments made in a late May staff meeting.

The Republican, from Texas' second largest city, was strategizing a response to the proposal to extend San Antonio's nondiscrimination law to include sexual orientation, gender identity and expression and veteran status.

LGBT app developer launches petition saying she is sure Apple will remove blacklisting of ‘bisexual’ once they are alerted

The lesbian behind an LGBT history app was shocked to discover Apple’s iTunes may reject her hard work if she used the word ‘bisexual’ in the description.

She says ‘bisexual’ is not a ‘dirty word’ and Apple should change their alerts accordingly.

Sarah Prager, from Berwyn Heights, Maryland, USA, launched the Quist smartphone app two weeks ago to tell more people about LGBTQ history.

It was approved by Apple and has already been downloaded by 8,000 on iTunes and 2,000 on Android.

Have you ever had one of those crazy nights when you offered to pay for sex with a phone, stole the prostitute's purse, fled by bicycle, and got chased down by her trans friend?

No? Well meet Ousmane Dramé, a third division footballer who is accused of doing just that.

The Frenchman, a left-winger for Italian side Lecce, is alleged to have argued with a prostitute over payment for her services on Monday night (22 April).

After the 20-year-old said he would pay the Nigerian lady of the night with his iPhone 5, he stole her purse and fled by bicycle.

Serial felon accused of going on violent crime spree, meeting men off GROWLr and SCRUFF apps, holding them at gun point, and taking their property

A gunman is accused of targeting ‘bears’ he met on gay dating apps for theft and rape.

The man from Kent, an outlying suburb of Seattle, is accused of having gone on a days-long violent crime spree and is now in jail on seven felony charges, reports Seattle Pi.

The most serious allegation against Laverne Lee Maxwell, aged 32, dates from 7 April.

SAGA creator says he never thought Apple or Comixology was homophobic, but 'weirdly inconsistent' over policy

Smartphone application Comixology has admitted to banning a comic containing images of gay sex as they were confused over Apple’s policies.

The app, which many iPhone and iPad users use to read their favorite comic books, admitted responsibility yesterday (10 April).

SAGA #12, created by Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples, showed a character named Prince Robot IV with a TV screen for a head showing two small images of gay pornography in its opening pages.

Issue 12 of acclaimed series SAGA containing two postage-stamp size images of gay sex will not be available on Apple devices

Apple has banned a comic for containing images of gay sex. Earlier issues, which showed explicit straight sex, are still available.

The new issue of SAGA, by Brian K Vaughn and Fiona Staples, shows a character named Prince Robot IV with a TV screen for a head showing two small images of gay pornography.

The acclaimed series’ 12th issue will not be available through the iOS Comixology app or on iPhones or iPads.

Vaughn said: ‘As has hopefully been clear from the first page of our first issue, SAGA is a series for the proverbial “mature reader”.

British sexual health charity Terrence Higgins Trust launches mobile phone app for myHIV users

A new app from British sexual health charity Terrence Higgins Trust helps people with HIV access health information on the go.

The app, Life plus, has been launched to ensure the 5,000 members of THT's myHIV online service are able to access information about their condition wherever they are.

It is free to download and contains tools for monitoring CD4 and viral load levels, storing health and treatment information, as well as setting medication and appointment reminders.

Charity launches tool to help people find an HIV test online, via Facebook or on their iPhone

Thousands of gay men use their smartphones to meet guys for sex – now there’s an app to help them find an HIV test too.

As England starts it’s first National HIV Testing Week today, running until 30 November, HIV and AIDS information charity NAM has launched a free smartphone app helping people find their nearest HIV test.

Victim of homophobic attack Chevi Rabbit says he feels safe again after 200 people march with him through streets of Edmonton, Canada

The victim of an alleged anti-gay attack in Edmonton, Canada, led hundreds of protesters in a march against hate crime.

Protesters in Canada plan to march for an end to hate crime following the attack of a gay student at the University of Alberta.

Chevi Rabbit was attacked by a group of three men walking near his campus on 19 July and, after hurling homophobic abuse, the 26-year-old claimed one of the trio attacked him, holding him in a headlock before stealing his iPhone.
