Facebook game Man Up focuses on the link between the number of sexual partners and the increased risk of sexually transmitted infections and HIV

The more men you sleep with, the more you need to get tested. But bed hopping is encouraged in a new game from Britain's leading HIV charity.

Terrence Higgins Trust created the Facebook game, Man Up, to show that guys who regularly sleep around need to get tested for sexually transmitted infections more often.

The Chinese government released an action plan on Wednesday to combat the 'serious' problem of the spread of HIV and AIDS in the country.

In a statement reported by Reuters the government said the spread of AIDS in China is 'still severe' and 'the virus is a serious (problem) in some areas and amongst high-risk groups'.

LGBT Labour says efforts to promote safe sex awareness need to be doubled, along with commitment to HIV services, in the face of swingeing British government cuts. After 30 years of HIV in the UK, the number of people living with the virus is at an all-time high, with there now being almost 100,000 cases. Gay and bisexual men remain most at risk - making up 69 per cent of infections caught through having sex. Almost a third of those infected do not realise they have it.
