Festivals, parades, over 70 events and parties, yes Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (SGLMG) is back with its 2014 teaser.

SGLMG’s video is an explosion of LGBT celebration. There’s bondage, rainbow roads, sailor dancers, fireworks, cocktails, Amanda Lepore, carnivals, sea, sun, beaches, lots of dancing and little clothing.

And 2014 will see SGLMG celebrate its 36th year, the first was held in 1978 and many of its original partiers still attend.

New Italian comic to star a gay jewelry thief

Founded in 2011 by Nino Giordano and Fabio Freddi, LGBT comics house Renbooks has now published its first Italian comic and has big plans for the future

A Bologna based LGBT publishing house has launched its first Italian comic – about a gay man who steals and wears women's jewelry.

Renbooks, founded in 2011 by Nino Giordano and Fabio Freddi, has just published Barba Di Perle by Florentine artist Flavia Biondi.

It's the first time the company has published its own title – their previous comics have been imported. But Renbooks has big plans for revolutionizing the gay comic market in Italy and giving LGBT Italians a new voice.

After six months at sea, boyfriend is there waiting for a kiss

It's a scene that would not have been possible more than nine months ago.

But in the post-Don't Ask, Don't Tell era, a sailor named Trent was able to step off of the USS Carl Vinson this week after six months at sea and be greeted with a kiss and a hug by his boyfriend Lee.

The reunion was captured in a fun video made Trent's best friend, Aaron (we don't know their last names!), who captured the moments of anticipation waiting for the ship to dock in San Diego and for the sailors to disembark.
