His new album, The Original High, will be released on 16 June

Adam Lambert has released two more songs from his upcoming album which will be released in June.

The new songs follow the release of the album’s lead single Ghost Town, during which the openly gay singer said he ‘panicked’ when he learnt Madonna had released a song with the same name just days before him.

This time, there are no strange coincidences or releases of songs with the same name.

First to be released is the up-tempo pop number Evil in the Night, in which Lambert takes stock of his love life, much like in Ghost Town.

Lithuania in historic Eurovision first

Tonight at the Eurovision Song Contest Second Semi-Final in Vienna, the performers from Lithuania scored a Eurovision first with not one, but two same-sex couples sharing a kiss on stage.

Watched by millions of television across the world, singers Vaidas and Monika opened the show with their song called “This Time” supported by two male and two female backing singers and dancers.

Hold My Hand hitmaker will be performing at Birmingham and Brighton Pride

Rather Be singer Jess Glynne has revealed she was left heartbroken after being in a relationship with a woman.

The British songwriter said while she doesn't define her sexuality, she was 'in love' with this girl.

'I was actually broken-hearted. She just fucked me over,' she told ES magazine, about the breakup in 2013.

'It was the first girl I'd ever fallen in love with. I've never said that to anyone. It was a relationship that was so new to me. Someone I met working.'

'They have no clue that I’m gay!'

Sam Smith has said he loves that there may be homophobes who listen to his music and don't know he's gay.

The 23-year-old British singer appears on the cover of French gay magazine Têtu's 20th anniversary edition this month.

'I like the idea that there may be homophobic guys who listen to my record and they have no clue that I’m gay!' he told the publication.

'I would like to become a voice for gay youth in difficulty around the world,' he continued.

'I just created a foundation.'

Even Lithuania is same-sex kissing its way through Eurovision

It's time for the second semi-final of the Eurovision song contest in Vienna as 17 countries take to the stage to try to win a place in Saturday's grand final.

In rehearsals, Lithuania have been featuring not one but two same-sex kisses on stage! Will they do so again tonight?

Ghost Town singer talks about 'momentary freak-out' over Madonna's song of the same name

Adam Lambert has revealed his ideal type of guy: otters.

The openly gay singer appeared on Monday (18 May) night’s Watch What Happens Live when a caller asked him what he looks for in a guy now.

'If I knew, I’d probably be dating somebody,' he replied.

'I think you get into your 30s and all the sudden you don’t know anything about anything and you’re okay with it.'

Gay host Andy Cohen then asked if he liked twinks.

'Sometimes,' Lambert replied. 'Not so much bear, more younger.'

The former girl band singer was discussing the court case that saw a Northern Ireland Christian bakery being found guilty of discrimination for refusing to make a pro-gay marriage cake.

Sam Smith may be on a break from performing as his voice heals but he's still quite active on social media.

The openly gay singer, who won three Billboard Music Awards over the weekend, took to Instagram to share his thoughts about turning 23 today.

'Prepare yourself for dramatic speech lol - I've only lived on this earth for 23 years and I have so much more to learn and so many more mistakes to make,' he writes.

M People frontwoman set to perform at 'green' LGBTI event in July

Heather Small, star of the M People, will be performing at this year's Bristol Pride, it has been revealed.

The soul singer – known for her hit solo song 'Proud' – will join a line up that includes Soul II Soul singer Kym Mazella, Mysterious Times singer Tina Cousins and former X Factor star Amelia Lily, with more acts yet to be announced.

Bristol Pride takes place from 4-12 July, with the main Pride Day event taking place on Saturday 11 July in the City Centre's Castle Park.

Following his appearance in Home & Away, the British singer has once again opted for a cameo appearance – this time on NBC’s sitcom Undateable.

The singer urged the US congress to continue leading the global effort to fight HIV and AIDS

Sir Elton John has said he believes AIDS can be eradicated during his lifetime – but only if the United States continue to lead the global effort.

Speaking at a senate hearing on the President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR), the United States’ global initiative to fight HIV and AIDS, the British singer urged the Congress to continue their global leadership.

‘The AIDS epidemic is not over and America's continued leadership is critical,‘ the British singer told the Senate.

The National AIDS Trust's annual Spring Awakening returns on the 13 May, and is to be hosted by Embarrassing Bodies presenter Dr Christian Jessen, alongside The Feeling singer Dan Gillespie-Sells.

The Feeling, whose hits include Fill My Little World and Love It When You Call, will also perform at the fundraiser, which will include an auction run by Christopher Biggins, with a dinner for six with Ben Cohen up for grabs.

Miley Cyrus Tueday (5 May) launched the Happy Hippie Foundation, a non-profit organization whose 'mission is to rally young people to fight injustice facing homeless [and] LGBT youth.'

The 22-year-old singer said she wanted to give LGBTI youth the opportunity to be themselves, adding that not all her relationships had been 'straight, heterosexual.'

'The position I'm in, I feel like I've got a lot of power,' she told the Associated Press.

Sam Smith has broken his silence on instagram to let his fans know he is recovering well.

This morning the gay singer, after a four-day absence from the social network, posted a black and white picture showing him in the Australian bush.

Fans had expressed their concern for the singer's health in comments under his last post; with today’s picture, Smith said he wanted to let his fans know he is okay.

‘I am insanely relaxed and am somewhere in the middle of Australia with no phone, no laptop,’ he writes.

Gay British singer is forced to cancel remaining Australia tour dates

Sam Smith is being told to rest his voice on doctor's orders or risk long-term damage.

The La La La singer has been forced to cancel the remainder of his Australian tour on account of suffering a haemorrhage on his vocal cords.

Issuing a statement on Instagram, he said: 'I am deeply, deeply saddened to tell my Australian fans, I have to cancel my Australian tour.

'I have been vocally exhausted for a while now however last night I had a small haemorrhage on my vocal cords.

Adam Lambert has revealed that he’s had sex with a number of Hollywood stars who are in the closet.

The openly gay singer blamed Tinseltown's macho culture for preventing his lovers from expressing their true sexuality in public.

‘I’ve been with a few of them,' he told Glamour magazine.

'Whether it’s music or acting, you’ve got to remember that those industries are primarily run by men, so maybe it’s about that.

‘But with women being the primary movie-goers and record-buyers, surely it shouldn’t matter so much?’

'It was so aggressive and intimating'

Markus Feehily has revealed he was once forced to flee a pub in Dublin after he was subjected to anti-gay abuse.

The Former Westlife singer said it was it was the first experience of homophobia, which he described as 'intimidating' and 'upsetting.'

'A man asked to take a picture of me, then four of his friends crowded round yelling, "What the fuck are you doing? Why are you having a photo with him, you gay? You queer!" he told the Sun newspaper.
