Judge tells Michael Egan: 'You understand this is a court of law.… You understand if you lie to me you'd get in trouble'

Michael Egan, the man who accused X-Men director Bryan Singer and other Hollywood players of sex abuse before dropping his case, did not have a very good day in court.

Egan appeared before a judge in Hawaii on Friday (24 October) in a malicious prosecution lawsuit brought by Garth Ancier, one of the other men he accused.

The judge called Egan out for lying when he claimed to not have had legal assistance in preparing his legal documents.

Judge J. Michael Seabright was not buying it.

Clunie: 'We are very excited about co-parenting and starting our little 21st century, progressive, American family'

X-Men director Bryan Singer is going to be a father.

The mother of the child is actress Michelle Clunie, his ex-girlfriend.

Clunie, who played Melanie for five seasons on Showtime's Queer as Folk is seven-and-a-half months pregnant and wrote on Facebook Wednesday (22 October): 'We dated. We broke up. He came out to me. We still loved each other and so made a pact we would start a family together some day. We are now 7 1/2 months pregnant and very excited about co-parenting and starting our little 21st century, progressive, American family.

'When my brother was told that God didn't love him I was like, "OK, that's not cool."'

Ariana Grande has revealed she renounced Catholicism in order to support her gay brother.

Her sibling, Frankie Grande, who recently appeared on Big Brother, was told by the Church that 'God didn't love him'.

The 21-year-old singer then decided to turn to Kabbalah.

'When my brother was told that God didn’t love him I was like, "OK, that’s not cool,"' she said in an interview with Sunday Telegraph magazine.

'They were building a Kabbalah center in Florida so we both checked it out and really had a connection with it.'

'Dark Lady' singer supports documentary that showed LGBTI Russians being held hostage by anti-gay groups

Cher has paid tribute to LGBTI Russians, describing them as 'brave warriors' today (21 October).

The 'Dark Lady' singer and living legend also promoted a recent documentary, Hunted, which showed the plight of gay youth suffering under the country's anti-gay laws.

She tweeted: 'Sending Love 2 Our Gay Brothers & Sisters, Being Held Hostage in Russia.

The Boyzone singer's family and husband are battling over his estate

The family of late Boyzone singer Stephen Gately have said they will hire a private investigator for a fresh probe into his death.

They said they still had unanswered questions over his death while they battle with his husband over his £1.5 million ($2.42 million) estate.

Gately, 33, died of an undetected heart condition in October 2009 while on holiday in Majorca with his husband, Andrew Cowles. He was found slumped on a sofa after returning home from a gay club with a Bulgarian model they had just met.

British singer Jack Walton, the 18-year-old currently competing in this year's ITV singing competition show, has revealed he has even had to leave girlfriends as they felt uncomfortable with him being brought up by two women.

The guitar-playing crooner, from the mining town of Castleford in Yorkshire, said he got a lot of hate from his schoolmates when he found out his mother was gay at age 11.

Opera singer Tamar Iveri was let go by Opera Australia and La Monnaie opera company of Brussels after a homophobic post appeared on her Facebook account

Georgian opera star Tamar Iveri, who described Pride as for the 'fecal masses', has cancelled her apology performance to the LGBTI community planned for today (11 October).

Earlier this year, the singer was dropped from a performance at Opera Australia after a homophobic rant appeared on her official Facebook page.

The rant praised Georgians for spitting at a LGBTI Pride parade and compared gay rights advances to cancer.

The gay British singer had just wrapped up his concert in Nashville when he told his fans he wouldn't be able to be around for signings post-show as he was feeling sick.

British singer Morrissey has revealed that he has been receiving treatment for cancer and may soon retire from making music

In an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, the 55-year-old singer said: ‘They have scraped cancerous tissues four times already, but who cares.

‘If I die, then I die. And if I don’t, then I don’t. Right now I feel good. I am aware that in some of my recent photos I look somewhat unhealthy, but that’s what illness can do. I’m not going to worry about that, I’ll rest when I’m dead.’

TV's Dexter set to take over role of transgender punk rock singer in Broadway production

Promotional photos released Monday (6 October) show that Michael C. Hall is ready for his close-up on Broadway in the title role in the musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

The show about a transgender punk rock singer has continued to be a hit even after the departure in August of Tony winning star Neil Patrick Harris.

Andrew Rannells has stepped into the role for the past two months at the Belasco Theatre.

Hall takes over for Rannells on 16 October and will be in the role through early January 2015.

Barbra Streisand makes music industry history with sales of latest album

Barbra Streisand is number one again.

The legendary singer's latest album, Partners, has debuted at the top of the Billboard sales chart. This makes Streisand the first artist in history to have a number one album in six consecutive decades.

Streisand's first number one album, People, came out 50 years ago next month. Her other chart toppers include The Way We Were, A Star is Born, The Broadway Album, and Love is the Answer, among others.
