She wishes she could turn back time

Cher has cancelled her Dressed to Kill Tour on doctors' orders.

The legendary gay icon said she was 'devastated' and has pledged to finish it next year.

The 68-year-old Dark Lady singer was given medical advice that she needed more time to recover from an ongoing viral infection.

A total of 29 dates were cancelled, including shows in New York, Boston, Chicago and Toronto. Refunds will be given.

The singer began her 'D2K' tour in March, with a scheduled break in July. It was described as her 'farewell' tour.

Jin Tai has a girlfriend of four years

Jin Tai has become the first Taiwanese singer to publicly come out as gay after years of interest in her sexuality.

The androgynous artist told the China Times that since turning 32 at the beginning of the month, she 'wanted to honestly face her past and future, including her relationship status.'

Tai said she only found the courage to come out to her military father a few days ago but his response brought tears to her eyes.

'I hope you will be blessed and happy in the second half of your life,' he said.

After reaching stardom, singer went on personal and professional slide

After years of struggle, country music singer Ty Herndon has come out publicly as a gay man at the age of 51.

Herndon made the revelation to People Magazine this week: 'My mother probably knew I was gay before I did. I remember sitting down with her and having the conversation.'

Country music has not been seen as welcoming to openly gay artists and Herndon kept his secret when he first hit the charts in 1995 with the single What Mattered Most.

Feeling it was time 'to be honest and be truthful,' country music singer Billy Gilman came out publicly Thursday (20 November) in a YouTube video to his fans.

'To say I'm devastated barely touches how I feel'

A 'devastated' Boy George announced on Facebook today that 'serious issues' with his throat have forced Culture Club to cancel both its US and UK tours.

The singer says he's been having trouble with his voice for a few months now but had attributed it to tiredness and pressed on with his commitments.

When he finally saw a top throat doctor in Los Angeles, it was discovered that he has a polyp on one of his vocal chords which has hemorrhaged. Another vocal chord is 'unusually enlarged' and won't close properly when he sings.

This 142-room colossus (which, from the outside, resembles an unassuming townhouse) is a favourite of Diamonds singer Rihanna when she's touring the Green Isle.

It's also played host to the likes of US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, who stayed here during their visit to the country in 2011. Rock god Bruce Springsteen is also known to drop by.

Singer drives talk show host's audience wild

Nick Jonas has got it and he's going to flaunt it.

The singer, doing a publicity blitz for his new self-titled album, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week and pulled down his pants for her screaming audience.

DeGeneres set the mood when she began to show the audience photos of a shirtless Jonas from a shoot he did for Flaunt magazine.

When the talk show host remarked that Jonas had put on a lot of muscle weight for his role on the TV series Kingdom and that she wanted to ask him to take his shirt off, Jonas drew the line.

The British singer, who because of being in the band is subject to rumors over his sexuality, responded to the article. He said: 'I am in fact straight.'

Spice Girls singer Mel B has reveals she's had sex with women but says she's not a lesbian.

The British singer, now a judge on The X Factor, revealed that she had sexual relationships with women in the past but now she's 'happily married' it no longer matters.

She was speaking with Alan Carr on his Chatty Man talk show, due to air tonight (7 November).

When asked about straight women who had become lesbians, she said: 'Yeah. I was one of those for a few years.'

Writer-director Shonali Bose focuses on the character of Laila, who is determined to not let her disability define her.

She writes lyrics for a rock band, she crops her wheelchair out of her Facebook pictures and masturbates freely to audio pornography.

As his debut album nears completion, singer shares new song Time and cover of Elton John classic Bennie and the Jets

It's been 16 months since Steve Grand burst onto the scene with All American Boy, his ballad of unrequited gay love.

The song went viral YouTube and will be featured on the singer's debut album which was funded by more than $300,000 raised on Kickstarter.

The album was originally scheduled to be out by late summer or early fall but has been pushed back to January to avoid the crowded holiday season.

Twenty models from six Asian cities feature in the awareness drive

Taiwanese diva and gay icon A-mei is the face and body of a nude gay awareness campaign for ELEMENT magazine.

She will also appear on the cover of the Singapore-based LGBTI bi-monthly, the only cover shoot she is doing this year. 

A-mei said, 'Love needs to be respected regardless of who you are, who I am.

'I hope by taking part in this campaign, more people will be aware, understand and recognize the LGBT community.'

Judge tells Michael Egan: 'You understand this is a court of law.… You understand if you lie to me you'd get in trouble'

Michael Egan, the man who accused X-Men director Bryan Singer and other Hollywood players of sex abuse before dropping his case, did not have a very good day in court.

Egan appeared before a judge in Hawaii on Friday (24 October) in a malicious prosecution lawsuit brought by Garth Ancier, one of the other men he accused.

The judge called Egan out for lying when he claimed to not have had legal assistance in preparing his legal documents.

Judge J. Michael Seabright was not buying it.

X-Men director Bryan Singer is going to be a father.

The mother of the child is actress Michelle Clunie, his ex-girlfriend.

Clunie, who played Melanie for five seasons on Showtime's Queer as Folk is seven-and-a-half months pregnant and wrote on Facebook Wednesday (22 October): 'We dated. We broke up. He came out to me. We still loved each other and so made a pact we would start a family together some day. We are now 7 1/2 months pregnant and very excited about co-parenting and starting our little 21st century, progressive, American family.

'When my brother was told that God didn't love him I was like, "OK, that's not cool."'

Ariana Grande has revealed she renounced Catholicism in order to support her gay brother.

Her sibling, Frankie Grande, who recently appeared on Big Brother, was told by the Church that 'God didn't love him'.

The 21-year-old singer then decided to turn to Kabbalah.

'When my brother was told that God didn’t love him I was like, "OK, that’s not cool,"' she said in an interview with Sunday Telegraph magazine.

'They were building a Kabbalah center in Florida so we both checked it out and really had a connection with it.'

The 'Dark Lady' singer and living legend also promoted a recent documentary, Hunted, which showed the plight of gay youth suffering under the country's anti-gay laws.

The Boyzone singer's family and husband are battling over his estate

The family of late Boyzone singer Stephen Gately have said they will hire a private investigator for a fresh probe into his death.

They said they still had unanswered questions over his death while they battle with his husband over his £1.5 million ($2.42 million) estate.

Gately, 33, died of an undetected heart condition in October 2009 while on holiday in Majorca with his husband, Andrew Cowles. He was found slumped on a sofa after returning home from a gay club with a Bulgarian model they had just met.

Opera singer Tamar Iveri was let go by Opera Australia and La Monnaie opera company of Brussels after a homophobic post appeared on her Facebook account

Georgian opera star Tamar Iveri, who described Pride as for the 'fecal masses', has cancelled her apology performance to the LGBTI community planned for today (11 October).

Earlier this year, the singer was dropped from a performance at Opera Australia after a homophobic rant appeared on her official Facebook page.

The rant praised Georgians for spitting at a LGBTI Pride parade and compared gay rights advances to cancer.
