With celebrities tallying up millions of followers, it’s inevitable that at least one might not exactly be team pro-LGBTI.

5And with Pride season coming to an end in the US, Instagram account Comments by Celebs rounded-up the top clap backs celebrities have made against their questionably queerphobic followers.

LGBTI Pride month is celebrated in the US every year in the month of June.

‘Weird. Bye!’

Comedian Mindy Kaling was swift when she encountered a rather succinct homophobe on her post.

Dazzling in a radiant Pride flag-inspired dress, Kaling asked her 4.2 million followers how they’ve celebrated their Prides. But one follower hit back: ‘One less follower.’

‘Weird. Bye!’ Kaling replied. Queuing a wave of supportive fans all saying goodbye to this homophobe.

‘You need to calm down’

Similarly, Demi Lovato wished her 72.8 million followers a happy Pride while wearing a block color outfit that Sam Smith dubbed a ‘stunner.’

But one fan wasn’t showing their colors when they replied to Lovato’s mom, Dianna De La Garza’s supportive comment with: ‘Jesus made Adam and Eve for a reason.’

Lovato responded with next-level sass: ‘Yeah, and I’m pretty sure that reason wasn’t to create homophobia… love thy neighbor, boo.’

While for American singer Ciara, attending the wedding of actor Jesse Taylor and Justin Mikita, she encoutered some abuse from a fan.

‘You shouldn’t be doing this,’ said the Instagram user.’Being at a gay wedding is one thing and joining them together is even more a greater sin. We love you but this is wrong.’

‘Firstly,’ Ciara wrote, ‘Christians don’t judge. Secondly, #YouNeedToCalmDown,# a reference to Taylor Swift’s LGBTI anthem song.
