Next year we celebrate 25 years of Dinah Shore, one of the world’s leading lesbian parties.

Organizers have already kicked off celebrations six months in advance of star-studded pool parties and entertainment.

Officially known as the Club Skirt’s Dinah Shore weekend, or just Dinah, this weeklong festival has helped put Palm Spring on the map of LGBTI society and helped inspire many lesbian events around the globe.

‘A quarter-century ago, [Dinah founder] Mariah Hanson did more than just kick-start her Dinah,’ reps said in a press release.

‘She also and most importantly launched what would become her enduring legacy to both the city of Palm Springs and the LGBT community.

‘From a small, one-night event at a Palm Springs museum with 1,500 participants twenty-five years ago, to booking lavish locations at deluxe hotels over five days of epic pool parties and world-class entertainment with some 15,000-plus attendees.’

From 1 to 5 April 2015, Dinah Shore will welcome women from around the world to celebrate the party’s 25th anniversary.

Last year included performances by Iggy Azalea, Eve and twin sisters Tegan and Sara.

Stay tuned to the Dinah Shore website for tickets and announcements for the 2015 party.
