Academy Award-winning director Lee Daniels is set to produce a gay superhero film.
Daniels met Dremon Cooper, a dance teacher from Washington DC, more commonly known as Super Bitch.
Cooper recently went viral online after posting videos of himself pretending to beat up criminals, while wearing thigh-high pink stiletto boots.
And now it looks like he’ll be starring as a new gay superhero.

Daniels posted a video to Instagram last night (15 January) featuring the handsome young gay man.
‘Y’all remember maybe 10, 12 years ago I said my dream was to make a gay superhero film?’ Daniels said. ‘Dreams do come true. And I found my superhero.
He then added: ‘America, world, get ready.’
Daniels then wrote in the caption to the video: ‘It’s not my next [film]… but it’s in the pipeline.’
Cooper also posted the video to Instagram, with the caption: ‘Dreams really do come true!
‘I had the pleasure of meeting the one and only [Lee Daniels]. You’re an amazing man filled with great ideas. I can[‘t] wait to work with you,’ he said.
It is unknown when the gay superhero film will begin filming.
Daniels identifies as gay and sexually fluid.
He directed Precious, which received six Academy Award nominations, including Best Director. It won two of the awards.
