Queen fronted by gay popstar, Adam Lambert, will perform at the Academy Awards this Sunday.
Lambert announced the performance on his social media.

The official social media accounts of Queen and the Oscars also announced the performance. Queen’s post featured a montage of the band and Lambert performing We Will Rock You.

They are lyrics to Queen’s 1975 hit, Bohemian Rhapsody. The biopic of the same name is up for five awards at Sunday’s Academy Awards.

Bohemian Rhapsody tracks the rise of Queen’s fame from the early days of original front man Freddie Mercury’s career as a baggage handler at Heathrow Airport.
Actor Rami Malek who portrays Mercury in the film is expected to take home the Oscar for Best Actor after winning key awards during the awards season. Malek won the Golden Globe, SAG and BAFTA for his role as Mercury.
The 91st Academy Awards airs this Sunday 24 February from 5pm (US east coast time).
