Adam Lambert and Daniel Radcliffe

Adam Lambert is set to play a character in new children’s film Playmobil: The Movie, alongside Harry Potter icon Daniel Radcliffe.

The Two Fux singer is set to play a villain named ‘Emperor Maximus’ in the film, due in 2019.

All About That Bass singer Meghan Trainor will also be lending her voice to the animated live-action movie.

Also starring is British actress Ana Taylor-Joy. She is known for her roles in horror movies such as The Witch and Split. Radcliffe, meanwhile, has starred in films like The Woman In Black and The Jungle.

Playmobil: The Movie is of course inspired by the iconic German toy brand.

‘Flying to another country for a second date is understandably intimidating’

After finding fame on American Idol in 2009, Adam has gone on to release three studio albums, while also finding much success touring with 80s rock band Queen.

However, the star has admitted the demands of his career have impacted his love life, telling GSN earlier this year: ‘What’s hard is attempting to see each other again – especially after just a first date.’

He furthermore added: That’s a lot of expectation and pressure to place on someone. Flying to another country for a second date is understandably intimidating.’

Earlier this year Adam revealed that he has tried out dating app for the stars, Raya, to no success.

‘I’m on there. I’ve already done that one. I’ve come through it and I didn’t meet anyone!’ he laughed.
