Anderson Cooper and partner Benjamin Maisani make a new friend in Myanmar

Anderson Cooper and partner Benjamin Maisani have been a couple since 2009.

Anderson Cooper has clearly left the world of US politics far behind for the holidays.

The CNN anchor is in Myanmar with longtime partner Benjamin Maisani and has been posting photos on Instagram of their adventures.

They gorgeous couple were at an elephant sanctuary earlier this week and on Friday (23 December) they were at a Buddhist monastery.

While there, they encountered an adorable puppy and posed for a photo with it.

If Cooper’s T-shirt looked familiar, he assures his more than 946,000 Instagram followers that he in fact has five of them.

‘They were on sale,’ he writes.

Cooper, 49, and Maisani, 43, live together in a renovated firehouse in Greenwich Village.

They own several other homes including one in Brazil. Maisani owns three popular gay bars in New York City: Easternbloc, Bedlam Bar & Lounge and Atlas Social Club.

This puppy lives in a Buddhist monastery in #Myanmar, and yes, i have about 5 of these shirts. They were on sale.
