The Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin feud just got worse, thanks to Cooper’s BFF Andy Cohen chiming in.
Here’s some backstory first.
Everything started with Griffin’s controversial photoshoot, depicting her posing with Donald Trump’s decapitated head. The dominoes then started falling.
Okay, all caught up? Great.
New slew of burns
Earlier this week, Griffin threw a nasty comment Cooper’s way, calling him a ‘spineless heiress‘. The comment was a reference to Cooper’s status as a Vanderbilt. His mother is the designer and socialite Gloria Vanderbilt.
In a new TMZ clip, a reporter asked Cohen about whether or not he ran the NYE gig past Griffin.
In response, Cohen pulled a page out of Mariah Carey’s book, saying: “Who? Who? I don’t know her.”
Of course, he does.
They worked for the same network and Griffin appeared on Cohen’s talk show a handful of times. But it looks like insulting his best friend went too far for Cohen.
Still, Griffin didn’t let the moment pass her by. This morning (27 October), she tweeted about the exchange, calling Cohen ‘deeply misogynistic’. She also claimed he treated her ‘like a dog’ the 10 years he was her boss.
Even when it's on tape, there are doubters? He is NOT kidding w paps. Was my boss for 10 years. Treated me like a dog. Deeply misogynistic https://t.co/geqFsLtWy1
