Attendees at the Values Voter Summit happening this weekend in Washington, D.C. received a pamphlet calling homosexuality a ‘public health crisis.’
One side of the flier read ‘The Health Hazards of Homosexuality: What the Medical and Psychological Research Reveals.’
The other side contained information saying the ‘sexual revolution’ and the ‘mainstreaming of homosexuality have created a public health crisis’ in America.
It goes on to say, ‘the media give little attention to the danger of “gay” and lesbian sexual practices and the resulting health problems experienced by the gay-lesbian-bisexual population. Worse, the medical authorities deliver mixed messages to those at high risk while failing to protect the broader public.’
The flyer also says gay and bisexual men are ‘most severely affected and driving the recent increase in STDs.’
It further reads, ‘lesbians, heterosexuals and youth are increasingly at risk by imitating dangerous “gay” practices.’

A pamphlet like that is not something you see every day, but it’s being distributed in the appropriate place.
The Values Voter Summit is put on each year by the Family Research Council, an anti-LGBTI group that promotes ‘traditional family values’ and has campaigned against same-sex marriage, civil unions and LGBTI adoption.
Donald Trump just became the first sitting president to ever address that conservative conference.
The largely Evangelical Christian audience seemed to love his speech where he promised protecting religious freedom would be a hallmark of his administration.
As for the pamphlet, it’s promoting a book, The Health Hazards of Homosexuality.
That 600-page book was published in February by MassResistance Press, a group that bills itself as a ‘pro-family activist organization’ on its website.
Britain’s Independent talked to Bryan Camenker, the executive director of Massachusetts-based MassResistance.
Camenker reported the book is a collection of studies about the ‘public health issue’ of homosexuality.
‘Most of the stuff published [on this topic] is very difficult for people to read, so we put it all together,’ Camenker told the Independent. ‘I think the media is doing a disservice by ignoring all this, because it’s stuff we’ve seen going on for years.’
He added: ‘The media propagates this myth that [homosexuality] is just like everything else, and there’s no health effects.’
MassResistance paid to have the flier included in the grab bag attendees received when they arrived. Camenker is selling the book at the conference and said it had been a ‘big hit.’
