With nearly 80,000 Instagram followers, John MacConnell’s drawings has plenty of fans, and with good reason.
MacConnell is a figurative artist based in New York City. He describes his work as ‘people’s interaction with contemporary life and culture, in a minimalist style’.
It’s intimate and human, depicting the male body with a keen eye and affection.
He studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art and the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
He has a new book of his art coming out in spring 2018.
