I’m proud to be a bisexual bearded baking brain scientist. I feel fortunate to be able to express all these aspects of my identity, and will continue to work toward ensuring the same freedom for others. #PrideMonth #PrideTurban #LoveIsLove pic.twitter.com/SVhc0iwDF0

In a separate tweet, Kohli explained how he got his look:
‘One of my normal black turbans that I supplemented with strips of other colors in exactly the right places’ he explained.
‘Took about an hour of tying, untying, and safety pinning, but totally worth it!’
Both Sikhs and Muslims often wear turbans, a piece of material wrapped around the head.
As of Sunday (2 June) evening, Kohl’s tweet had had more than a 1,000 retweets.
‘That pride turban is the most amazing thing I’ve seen today’ one user wrote.
‘This is beautiful and I am OBSESSED with that turban’ another wrote.
Many people, particularly in the US, celebrate Pride Month in June to coincide with the Stonewall Riots.
