Billy Eichner screams at David Letterman – and The Late Show host likes it

David Letterman doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who especially likes being screamed at by a gay man.

But he made an exception on Thursday (11 September) for a very funny gay man named Billy Eichner.

Eichner is the hilarious host of the online sensation Billy on the Street which has him running around New York City, usually with a celebrity in tow, handing dollar bills to people who answer his impromptu questions correctly.

Eichner’s profile was raised considerably last month when he did a bit for the Emmys with host Seth Meyers.

With Letterman, Eichner played the game Celebrity Child or Kentucky Derby Winner? The host had to guess if an unusual name thrown out by Eichner was the name of a horse or a kid.

Letterman got yelled at each time he got an answer wrong and said after: ‘Do you have any more games we can play? I just like being yelled at! It’s exciting,’

Eichner also told Letterman about his friendship with the late Joan Rivers. When Rivers made her first appearance on The Late Show in many years, she insisted Eichner drop some of his tapes off so she could leave them with Letterman producers.
