Bisexual pop star Ke$ha says love is not about gender

Bisexual pop star Ke$ha says love is not about ‘gender’ and speaks out against gay bullying.

The Die Young singer, who dedicated her new album Warrior to her gay fans, told Seventeen magazine: ‘I don’t love just men. I love people. It’s not about a gender. It’s just about the spirit that exudes from that other person you’re with.’

She added that she has ‘zero tolerance’ towards bullying.

‘I’m all about standing up to gay, lesbian, transgender bullying, but it’s also about my little brother,’ the 25-year-old said.

‘He’s 13 and he gets made fun of because he has a stutter. I just have zero tolerance for people making fun of others.’

Her previous single ‘We R Who We R’ was described as an ode to bullied gay teenagers.

In November, Ke$ha also admitted she had the ‘biggest crush’ on Florence Welch, the lead singer from Florence and the Machine.
