This Black Panther same-sex elevator kiss won last night’s Golden Globes

Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong'o in Black Panther.

The Golden Globes took place last night in Beverly Hills, officially kicking off the award season in the US.

LGBTI actors, movies and shows won big, but if you thought the same-sex love was limited to the award ceremony, you might want to think twice.

The Black Panther cast, in fact, made an epic entrance to the after party.

The critically acclaimed movie received three nominations, included Best Motion Picture – Drama, but didn’t land any of the awards.

That infamous elevator

Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira and Michael B. Jordan were the protagonists of the elevator sketch. Nyong’o shared a video from that famous lift at the InStyle And Warner Bros. party which features two passionate kisses.

‘When the cat’s away,’ she hilariously captioned the clip.

Right after The Walking Dead actress Danai Gurira calls the elevator, the doors open to reveal Nyong’o and Micheal B. Jordan making out.

Wait to see Gurira’s glorious reaction.

Wrapped in a fierce yet not so practical red gown, she steps in the elevator as the two stop snogging. Then she pushes Jordan out of the way to passionately kiss Nyong’o.

Fans obviously couldn’t handle it.

Does it ring a bell?

This scene resembles one at the Golden Globes in 2017 starring Stranger Things Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, and Charlie Heaton, aka the Nancy-Steve-Jonathan love triangle.

In one of the best elevator videos of that after party, Keery and Heaton started making out right in front of Dyer, who stormed off. Sorry, Nancy.
