Gay weather anchor issues hilarious snow warning for US east coast

Broadcaster Blaine Stewart

Parts of the US are being battered by snow storms and freezing weather conditions at the moment.

Arctic conditions have been sweeping across parts of the country – with a low of -45F being recorded in Minnesota.

Weather forecasters have been warning the population to beware the snowy and icy conditions… some with a little more humor than others.

News and weather anchor Blaine Stewart works for WTKR3, based in Virginia. Proudly LGBT, according to his Twitter profile, a tweet he posted four hours ago is quickly going viral.

Alongside a map showing snow forecasts in the region, he said, ‘UPDATE: Get ready for a pounding. Some of us could see 8 inches or more. That’s too much — even for me.’

At the time of writing, the tweet had been re-tweeted over 9,000 times and liked 17,000 times.

Most approved of him bringing some light relief to the situation.
