Better get your skates (or skis) on – next year’s European Gay Ski Week is just four months away.
The popular winter sport festival will take place in Avoriaz in the French Alps from March 19-26.
Featuring skiing, snowboarding, parties, saunas, spas, cabarets, clubs, drag acts and surprise performers, the event will be celebrating its eighth year in 2016.
It launched in 2008 in Solden, Austria with 150 attendees; last year, over 1000 ski lovers of all genders and persuasions from over 50 countries around the world attended.
The Portes du Soleil ski area, where Avoriaz is located, boasts 650km of pistes spanning France and Switzerland, linking 12 resorts.
Geneva International Airport is 90 miles from Avoriaz.
