A sequel to 2017’s hit movie Call Me By Your Name is now practically a dead cert – and Twitter has been helpfully suggesting some names for the upcoming movie.
The Oscar-winning CMBYN of course starred Armie Hammer and Timothee Chalamet, and told the story of the gay love affair between a teenager and a 20-something in 80s Italy.
‘It cannot be Call Me by Your Name Two’
‘The only problem is the title,’ said the movie’s director Luca Guadagnino of a follow up, in a new interview with the New Yorker published this week. ‘It cannot be Call Me by Your Name Two”‘.
(In the same interview, he teased that actress Dakota Johnson might potentially play the wife of Armie’s character Oliver in the next film. ‘She has to be a New England kind of hoochie woman,’ said Luca, adding that he imagines the pair having ‘maybe five children.’)
