Comic Lavell Crawford thinks young gay guys should ‘try p*ssy out for a few years’

Comedian Lavell Crawford’s late father was openly gay but that doesn’t mean he’s the most enlightened person when it comes to LGBTI equality.

In an interview with VLAD TV, Crawford says a series of shockingly ignorant and offensive things about the LGBTI community.

‘No matter how much they’re getting accepted, it’s still f*cking weird, he says. ‘Now they’re trying to get their own bathrooms and sh*t [even though] it’s still not the norm.’

But he insists ‘I don’t got nothing against gay people because strange enough, my father’s gay.’

Crawford said his father ‘ran off’ and wasn’t in his life for more than 20 years but ‘when he came back into out lives, we found out he was gay. I didn’t know how to react at first. And then I didn’t know if it was hereditary and I was gonna have a gay switch go on.’

His father, who had gotten married to a man, died a few years ago.

Crawford said he didn’t know whether to call his father’s husband ‘stepmom or mom/dad.’ ‘I said, “Which one is the man?” I didn’t know.’

Despite his offensive remarks in the interview, Crawford claims he doesn’t do mean gay jokes for fear of backlash from the ‘gay mafia.’

He mentions the heat Tracy Morgan took after he said in a stand-up routine that he would stab his son if he found out he was gay.

‘Gay people shut down sh*t man.’

Then he goes on to say that you shouldn’t be able to be gay until you are 25.

Parents need to teach their kids ‘to be men and women before we try and put a moniker of gay and lesbian and sh*t. Okay, you’re gay – 25 I think you can be gay. If you decide you want to be gay at 25, that’s fine. But try pussy for the first years – try pussy out. Young lady, try a dick out. You’re gonna find a good dick out there.’
