It is not known for being the most LGBTI-friendly of states.
But a straight self-described ‘country boy’ from Oklahoma – whose pro-LGBTI wagon recently went viral – has already done a lot to spread the message of LGBTI equality.
Furthermore, he turned out to be a huge hit at last weekend’s Oklahoma Pride, with many attendees asking for pictures with him.
Pride-goer Kasey Lubbock said meeting wagon driver Cody was an ‘honor’, in the caption to his pic of them.

‘Today I had the honor of meeting one of Oklahoma’s finest, Cody!’ He write in his post. ‘Oklahoma really is an OK state.’
Cody rainbow-bumpered ride bears the words ‘not all country boys are bigots’ along with ‘happy pride month.’

‘Found a way to show my support for Pride’
Cody made headlines around the world on 6 June after sharing a pic of his truck Facebook.
‘Found a way to show my support for Pride month,’ he said.
‘I simply bought rolls of brightly colored duct tape and ran them across my tailgate in the design of the Pride flag. And added some mailbox letters.’
Instagrammer Ashford Thompson also shared the a pic with the vehicle, alongside the caption ‘making progress’.
