Drag Race’s Courtney Act has danced as a man in a historic Dancing With The Stars performance.
For the first time, she has performed her entire routine presenting as a male.
This is the first time Dancing With The Stars in Australia has seen two dancers presenting as male perform together.
The two performed a fusion Foxtrot/Tango to Britney Spears’ Toxic.
Historic moment on Dancing With The Stars
Courtney and professional partner Joshua Keefe scored 29 out of 30 for the dance.
The Drag Race finalist said it was her last chance to perform as Shane on the show as it was the penultimate episode.
She said she wanted to be ‘in drag and be all glittery for the finale’.
Courtney and Joshua made it through the semi-finals and into next week’s grand final.
Prior to performing on Dancing With The Stars Australia, Courtney said she wanted to perform at least one number as Shane.
She said: ‘I would want to be Courtney and dance with a male partner.
‘And then halfway through the series I’d come out as Shane and there would finally be same-sex dancing on the show.
‘I’ve seen same-sex ballroom dancing and it’s just as fabulous.’
