Drag Race’s Courtney Act absolutely slayed in this stunning dance routine that breaks down gender stereotypes.
Courtney (real name Shane Jenek) is currently competing on Dancing with the Stars Australia and is annihilating the competition.
Her ballroom performance this week features her in a pink dress, heels, wig and makeup. Then her dance partner Joshua Keefe in a full blue suit.
It’s a clear allusion to society boxing males into blue and females into pink.
The lyrics to the song also accompany this sentiment, talking about girls wearing pink and boys wearing blue.
As the performance goes on, Courtney throws off her wig in defiance.
Joshua then unwraps Courtney’s dress through an impressive spin and she runs away to the mirror. She then grabs a towel, throws off her eyelashes and wipes off all of her makeup.
She posted a clip of the video to Twitter today (4 March).
‘Happy Mardi Gras,’ she wrote in the caption. ‘Shine a light on every little part of you, especially the shadows that scare you the most!’

Courtney Act appeared at the Sydney Mardi Gras over the weekend.
Also present on the Saturday evening parade was pop princess Kylie Minogue. The Can’t Get You Out of my Head singer posted a photo, featuring Courtney photobombing in the background.
