Dannii Minogue is heading to Sydney for the Mardi Gras Party

The organizers of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival have announced the next big star to perform at the Mardi Gras party that follows the parade.

Legendary Australian pop princess Dannii Minogue will be jetting into town for the 7 March party which will also see Nick Jonas, Jessica Mauboy, Destiny Haz Arrived, Betty Who, Courtney Act and Jake Shears perform.

It’s been sixteen years since Minogue last performed at the Mardi Gras Party and she’s promising a spectacle of stellar proportions.

‘See you at the party for my Minogue-Mardi-Gras-Madness – Mardi Gras Party ’15 is the space to create your favorite summer memories,’ Minogue said ahead of the event.

Mardi Gras CEO, Michael Rolik said organizers expected Minogue would be a big drawcard for many partygoers.

‘Dannii is one of the community’s most treasured performers and always knows how to deliver a stand out performance,’ Rolik said.

‘We’re so excited to welcome her back to the Mardi Gras Party.’

Organizers are billing the event as the only place to be after Australia’s biggest and most iconic parade on Saturday 7 March, and say it will be unstoppable, unbelievable, and totally unmissable.

It starts at 10 in the evening and continues until 8am the next day.
