Has Jason Mraz come out as bi?

Fans are wondering whether singer Jason Mraz has come out as bisexual.

The 40-year-old ‘I’m Yours’ performer penned the poem for Billboard.

The site asked celebs to write a Love Letter to the LGBTQ Community.

Jason Mraz: ‘I am bi your side’

Mraz wrote: ‘We still have a long way to go. But know. I am bi your side.’

The singer is a longtime support of LGBTI rights.

In 2010, he and fiancée Tristan Prettyman refused to get married until marriage equality was legal everywhere in the US.

The couple broke off the engagement. And then in 2015, Mraz married Christina Carano.

The singer has also possibly hinted towards a bisexual identity in the past, but never officially come out.

‘In a 2005 interview, he explained he found himself attracted to his gay best friend.

‘It wasn’t until we were out for dinner on Valentine’s Day that I realized we both we’re having a very romantic time together,’ he said.

‘Right before I moved to California he gave me a pretty strong willed kiss goodbye, which I have never experienced before. Unfortunately, he had a little bit more facial hair than I like… I have a bisexually open mind, but I have never been in a sexual relationship with a man. If the right one came along, then sure.’

Fans thrilled Jason Mraz could have just come out as bisexual

The full poem:

Dear You,
Thank you.
You have inspired me.
Re-wired me.
You showed me what strength is.
You demonstrated courage over and over again.
You risked so much for love.
You never compromised your expression
Even when
Your rights and freedoms were being compromised.
You stood up for me.
You stood up for the world.
And now the world is better because of you.
We still have a long way to go
But know
I am bi your side.
All ways.

Fans have reacted with happiness about Jason Mraz’s possible coming out.
