Alyssa Edwards officiated a wedding in Dallas, Texas

RuPaul’s Drag Race star Alyssa Edwards is now a woman of the cloth, as she officiated a wedding for a gay couple at the weekend.

And this wedding wasn’t just cute, it was drop dead gorgeous. It was also possibly the gayest event to ever happen in Texas.

Robbie Richard and Neil Marek, both fashion designers from Dallas, Texas, tied the knot at Cedar Canyon Dude Ranch on 16 December.

No one was turning up in suits and cocktail dresses. The dress code was space cowboy or gurl attire, or as they put it the ‘best club kid western wear’.

Marek and Richard designed their wedding suits, as well as outfits for Alyssa for the ceremony.

‘So my friends Robbie and Neil got married last night at a dude ranch in north Texas and Alyssa officiated it!’ one guest said.

‘She popped out of a cake and everything. I wasn’t allowed to take too many photos because they were filming for Alyssa’s new show but it was honestly an extravagant evening.

‘Honestly the whole night was VERY gay and I lived for the whole thing. There were ponies, neon, candles, a riding bull, and it was costume mandatory so everyone turned looks.’

Will the wedding be shown in Alyssa Edwards’ upcoming rumored TV show?

With cameras following Alyssa’s every move, it appears we might be finally getting Beyond Belief – the reality show about Alyssa and her dance studio.

A pilot for a ‘drag’ version of Dance Moms, featuring Alyssa, was created two years ago.

However, due to the death of Alyssa’s mom, the plans were shelved. At recent gigs, Alyssa has said the show is being filmed but has yet to be confirmed by World of Wonder.
