Fox News analyst wonders if California killer had 'homosexual impulses'

A Fox News analyst wondered if the culprit in a weekend killing spree struggled with ‘homosexual impulses.’

On Friday night (23 May), suspect Elliot Rodger killed six people near the University of California, Santa Barbara, campus.

Before being apprehend by police, Rodger allegedly shot himself in the head. Thirteen people were injured during the rampage.

According to NPR, the suspect left a YouTube video called Elliot Rodger’s Retribution.

In the video the 22-year-old complained about being a virgin and women who ‘looked down upon me and treated me like scum, while you gave yourself to other men.’

Dr. Robi Ludwig was a guest on the Fox News’ show Justice with Judge Jeanine and the psychologist wondered if the dead suspect was gay.

‘When I was first listening to him, I was like, "Oh, he’s angry with women for rejecting him,"’ Ludwig said, according to The New Civil Rights Movement. ‘And then I started to have a different idea: "Is this somebody who is trying to fight against his homosexual impulses?"’

The psychologist added ‘was he angry with women because they were taking away men from him?’

As of  today, 25 May, law enforcement officials have not mentioned gay sexuality as an answer for the murders.
