RuPaul calls bullshit

When you’re looking for accuracy, you are of course going to go to the bastion of ethical and fair journalism Fox News.

In case you can’t tell, we’re being sarcastic.

Drag Race fans couldn’t help but laugh when the conservative news source got one very big detail wrong.

Fox News takes on Nancy Pelosi guest-starring on RuPaul’s Drag Race

Fox News posted an article on Nancy Pelosi, former House speaker, becoming a guest judge on All Stars 3.

‘Pelosi will be on the runway to judge Paul’s collection of drag queens for an episode of the series’ upcoming return,’ they wrote.

‘For those unfamiliar with the show, it takes various drag queens and assigns them various challenges each episode that Paul and other judges then use to decide who wins.’

RuPaul: Behind the name

For those who can Google, RuPaul was born RuPaul Andre Charles.

His Louisiana-born mom gave him the name based on roux, a mixture used to make gumbo.

From birth she declared: ‘His name is RuPaul Andre Charles and he’s gonna be a star, ’cause ain’t another mother fucker alive with a name like that!”

Who’s talking about fake news now?

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 is starting soon

Pelosi will star as a guest judge alongside returnees Marc Jacobs, Vanessa Williams, Adam Lambert, and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman.

Other stars to guest judge include Vanessa Hudgens, Tituss Burgess, Kristin Chenoweth, Chris Colfer and Emma Bunton.

Pelosi’s reps said her advocacy for the LGBTI community in her district played a big factor in her decision to show up to guest-judge.

They added she wanted to ‘show solidarity in the face of attacks against LGBTI people by the Trump administration’.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 begins on 25 January at 8pm on VH1.
