Fuller House

Netflix show Fuller House has revealed one of the main characters is bisexual.

The sequel to the American popular sitcom Full House aired in the late 80s follows the lives of the two older Tanner girls. Recent widower and mother of three D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure) and her younger sister Stephanie, played by Jodie Sweetin, go back to their childhood house to live together with their best friend Kimmy (Andrea Barber).

Stephanie has dated both genders

Stephanie has spoken about her relationship with a woman in a recent episode.

During the eighth episode of the new season, the gang attends an awards ceremony for best veterinarian in the Bay Area. D.J. is hoping to win, but the award goes to her partner and ex-boyfriend.

Her sister Stephanie then makes a comment that implies she has dated both genders.

‘His clinic was only open for three weeks! I had a girlfriend longer than that!’ she says.

The reactions of her sister D.J. and friend Gia (Marla Sokoloff) are hilarious.

D.J. responds with a confused, ‘Wait. What?’ while Gia bursts out laughing.

It is unclear whether the show will explore Stephanie’s bisexuality. She is now in a committed relationship with Kimmy’s brother Jimmy and the two are about to become parents via surrogacy. However, Fuller House might reveal some more details on her past.
