The problem with Game of Thrones (calm down fanboys) is that amid all the drama and murder and dragons, there’s not a lot of gay love on the show.
Sure, Loras Tyrell has popped up from time and time again, but he’s now in prison. And we haven’t seen him since.
Natalie Dormer, who plays Loras’ sister Lady Margaery Tyrell on the fantasy series, is worried about how much ‘trouble’ her on-screen sibling is in.
‘He’s in trouble—they’re both in trouble,’ she told James Barr on Heat Radio. ‘Actually they’re in the most trouble they’ve been in since we’ve met the Tyrells. We see a whole new side to [Margaery]. She hasn’t got the reins anymore.’
When asked whether Westeros needs some LGBTI love and acceptance, she agreed. ‘I’d be right there with you. I’d be right there with the rainbow flags.’ She added: ‘We need a new house, with a new sigil!’
